What is an Emily?
Emily is a serial entrepreneur, municipal millennial, and practicing stoic. She lives and breathes in Russellville, Arkansas with her pup, Ampersand. If you were to ask what a bookstore, a coffee shop, and a design agency all had in common it would be that Emily owns them. ​
A Brief Timeline of a Prolific Woman
Got born.
I opened my first business, The Brainstorm Agency, because I couldn't find a job in my field where I lived. It was in the back of a nail salon.
I opened my third business, The Garage Arcade, because there was a void of affordable family entertainment in our downtown area. Plus, who doesn't love video games?
2018
I opened my second business, Dog Ear Books, with my mom because our local bookstore shut down. It was a beautiful building right on our Main Street.
We relocated our bookstore due to the pandemic and rising rents.
I opened Retro Roasts in its own location next door to the new Dog Ear Books shop.
We outgrew the first location of the arcade and got a bigger space and took advantage of the pandemic by renovating the building to be exactly what we needed.
Relaunched The Brainstorm Agency with a great team of people to help make this business thrive.
Got married to a rad gal from Memphis.
Got elected to the Russellville City Council.
